Bremen Schnoor


An old city quarter consisting of a network of medieval winding alleys and narrow streets. Once populated by river fishermen, artisans and traders, it is now home to exclusive shops, nostalgic pubs, restaurants and cosy cafés. This is a lovingly restored part of the city with a history that dates back to the 13th century. The houses that have survived were built around 1500.

There is a constant hustle and bustle at the container-terminal, where the world's largest container ships dock and also at the automobile-terminal, Europe's largest hub for automobile transshipment. Guests can only visit this area up close with the HarborBus and will pass by the Cruise Terminal Bremerhaven, one of Europe's most modern terminals.
